The Emergency Nurses Association's Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) is a two-day, internationally recognized certification program for registered nurses that provides core-level knowledge and psychomotor skills for caring for adult and adolescent trauma patients. The course uses online modules, interactive skill stations, and instructor-led sessions to teach a systematic approach to patient assessment and interventions, covering topics like airway management, shock, and various types of traumatic injuries. Successful completion results in four years of provider certification, enhancing the nurse's ability to provide high-quality care in the emergency setting.
