We strive to provide quality, evidence-based training at SMR. When we participate in quality training from other organizations, we like to promote their brand and highlight what they offer. Norse Tactical recently provided a sustainment training demo in Minden, and it was a phenomenal event. 

Minden Police Department patrol officers and SRT members participated in an all-day Demo/Introduction to Close Quarters Tactics (CQT) course conducted by Norse Tactical.

Founded in 2010, Norse Tactical has grown into one of the nation's most established private tactical training organizations. Their mission is to provide the highest-quality training programs available, giving law enforcement professionals the greatest possible advantage in high-risk situations through practical, principle-based instruction rooted in real-world law enforcement and military experience.

Throughout the day, officers were introduced to the fundamentals of close quarters tactics, emphasizing threat assessment, team communication, movement, and maintaining control in dynamic environments. The training provided valuable concepts and techniques that enhance officer safety, teamwork, and operational readiness.
