EMS & Law Enforcement come together to collaborate in a 2-day, intense training session. During an active violent event, LE & EMS have a symbiotic relationship with a common goal: STOP THE KILLING AND STOP THE DYING. It is the SMR mission to train these professionals to meet that goal--together. Come train with us and give our instructors the opportunity to help fine-tune your craft. Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) Day 2 - Classroom Airway & Respiration Lab. Students learn airway management techniqes that are fundamental in managing trauma patients in the tactical environment. Students become proficient in NPA placement, supraglottic airway insertion, and tension pneumothorax management.
Tactical Emergency Casualty Care simulation exercises are immersive and interactive training tools that replicate real-life scenarios to enhance the skills and knowledge of first responders in managing casualties in high-threat environments. These exercises allow for the practice of critical decision-making and operational skills in a controlled setting, ensuring that first responders are prepared for real-world situations. SMR enploys a hybrid program that gives law enforcement officers and medics the opportunity to perform Rescue Task Force operations in realistic active violent events. This synergistic approach embodies the goals of TEMS: STOP THE KILLING & SAVE THE DYING.
